New Restaurant

Our recent contracts include the decommissioning of the old SCA site warehouse, which included the staff restaurant, and reinstating the restaurant and kitchen in the main offices. These works were carried out within a tight schedule with the intention of minimising disruption to the day to day working of the site.

Ground Floor Office Refurbishment

In 2006 we completed the ground floor office refurbishment for the new layout including the installation of containment in the form of power poles and three compartment trunking, which contained new data and power. Again, it was necessary to work to a tight schedule on this project

Energy Management Scheme

In 2002 CES Electrical Contactors and Engineers did a survey of the site’s existing lighting system and energy consumption and forwarded a scheme which would make the site more energy efficient. The new lighting and energy management system cost the client an initial £184,000.00. With a payback of two years after this period, huge savings are being made on the client’s annual energy consumption.

Emergency Lighting Scheme

In 2003 CES Electrical Contactors and Engineers designed and put forward recommendations for the renewal of the emergency lighting system. The client raised an order and the installation was completed in 2004

SAPPI transformer

Switch Room Four

In 2003 CES Electrical Contractors and Engineers offered the client a turnkey project for the upgrade of switch room four. This project consisted of removing the existing 2000 KVA transformer from the network and installing a new transformer into the system. From the transformer a new 2000 amp switch panel was manufactured and installed via a 2000 amp adjustable air circuit breaker, with appropriate downstream devices for outgoing circuits. There was a tight schedule for the integration of the transformer and switchboard into the system.
